As we continue to expand, we are seeking an ambitious Staff Accountant to join our Finance team and help support the company's continued growth.
Position SummaryThe Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Accounting graduate looking to launch their career with a growing organization and gain exposure across multiple areas of accounting and finance.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to develop a strong foundation in corporate accounting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and maintain journal entries and supporting schedules
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Assist with bank reconciliations and cash management activities
- Support preparation of financial reports and analysis
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity
- Assist with fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
- Support external audits and financial reviews
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Partner with operations and other departments to resolve accounting-related issues
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Exposure to a wide range of accounting and finance functions
