Bookkeeper Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented bookkeeper to support a short-term contract assignment in Richmond, Virginia. This onsite role runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and will focus on maintaining accurate financial records and completing bank reconciliation work in Quick Books Desktop. The ideal candidate brings hands-on bookkeeping experience and can quickly contribute in a fast-paced environment over the course of this two-week project.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily bookkeeping activities to keep financial records current, organized, and accurate throughout the assignment.
• Complete bank reconciliations in Quick Books Desktop by reviewing transactions, identifying discrepancies, and resolving outstanding items.
• Process accounts payable transactions, including reviewing invoices and preparing entries for timely payment handling.
• Manage accounts receivable activity by recording incoming payments and helping maintain accurate customer account balances.
• Verify financial data across records to ensure consistency and support accurate reporting during the project period.
• Work onsite in Richmond, Virginia during standard weekday business hours and provide dependable support to the accounting function.
