Landmark Property Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Property Accountant to support the financial operations of our multifamily housing portfolio. This role is responsible for month-end close, bank reconciliations, owner distributions, mortgage reporting, financial statement preparation, and other accounting functions.
ScheduleMonday
- Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities- Review and resolve Positive Pay exceptions and upload Positive Pay files.
- Process utility payments and Conservice requests.
- Perform month-end close activities and account reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank accounts, tenant receivables, security deposits, and escrow accounts.
- Prepare monthly financial packages and owner distributions.
- Record mortgage payments and complete mortgage verifications.
- Process insurance and real estate tax payments.
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and audit items.
- Assist with audits, reporting requirements, and special projects.
- Calculate DSCR and prepare Reserve Replacement schedules as needed.

Qualifications- Associate's or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Property management accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
