Senior Tax Accountant | Hybrid | 40-Hour Work Week

We're partnering with a growing Richmond-based company in the near west end to identify a Senior Tax Accountant to join its corporate tax team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 4+ years of public accounting tax experience who is looking to transition into industry while continuing to work on a broad range of tax matters in a collaborative environment.

• Prepare and review federal and state income tax compliance work papers and returns
• Manage domestic indirect tax compliance, including sales & use, personal property, real property, and business license taxes
• Coordinate with third-party tax providers
• Assist with tax planning, technical research, and tax process improvements
• Support mergers & acquisitions, tax due diligence, and audit responses
• Develop and improve tax compliance processes, including identifying opportunities to leverage AI and automation

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business
• 4+ years of tax experience in public accounting
• Experience preparing complex business returns (Forms 1065 and/or 1120)
• CPA or CPA-track preferredc>strong excel skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience using AI tools or tax technology to improve efficiency is a plus

• Hybrid schedule (3 days in the Richmond office, 2 days remote)
• 40-hour work week

• Competitive total compensation up to $120,000, depending on experience
