Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting
Senior Property Accountant | Richmond, VA
Are you an experienced accountant with a background in commercial or multifamily real estate? We're partnering with a well-respected Richmond organization seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join their growing team.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for a portfolio of commercial and multifamily properties
- Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow analysis
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, owner distributions, audits, and year-end reporting
- Support property onboarding activities and collaborate closely with property management teams
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong financial statement preparation and GAAP reporting experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Real estate accounting experience required
- MRI or Yardi experience is a plus

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
