Position: Part-Time Receptionist / Executive Assistant

Bounds and Bounds, PLLC is a litigation-focused law firm serving clients in criminal defense, family law, civil litigation, personal injury, estate planning, and business matters. The firm operates in a fast-paced, client-centered environment that values professionalism, precision, and discretion.

Position Overview

Bounds and Bounds, PLLC seeks a highly organized and professional Part-Time Receptionist / Executive Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for clients while providing direct administrative support to the Office Manager and Managing Partner. This role requires strong communication skills, discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities Front Desk & Client Relations
  • Answer and direct incoming calls professionally and efficiently
  • Greet clients and visitors; maintain a welcoming and organized office environment
  • Schedule consultations and manage attorney calendars
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Executive & Administrative Support
  • Provide direct administrative support to the Managing Partner and Office Manager
  • Assist with calendar management, deadline tracking, and meeting coordination
  • Draft, format, and proofread correspondence and legal documents
  • Assist with client intake and file organization
  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
  • Support billing, accounts receivable, and administrative workflows
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and expense tracking as needed
  • Assist with operational and firm management projects
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a law firm or professional services setting preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) required; familiarity with legal practice management software a plus
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Professional demeanor and polished presentation
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while taking direction effectively
