Job DutiesThe Virginia Department of Veteran Services is seeking a part‑time Procurement Assistant. This position will be responsible for using an agency‑issued Small Purchase Charge Card (SPCC) for payment of invoices in a high‑volume environment. SPCC payments will be made for orders self‑entered and for orders entered and placed by other divisions. The Assistant will coordinate with other divisions to obtain supporting documents when paying their invoices and will coordinate with ordering division staff from the time of requisition entry, purchase order, receipt, and payment.
Minimum Qualifications- Experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to lift, move, and organize office supplies as needed.
- Ability to effectively document meeting discussions and action items.
- Experience with purchase card and entering invoices.
Experience with the eVA procurement system & SPCC desirable. VCA certification desirable but not required.
