Description We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations for a credit union in Richmond, Virginia. This Contract position requires someone who can manage communications, maintain accurate records, and provide dependable administrative support in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable using Microsoft Office tools to keep schedules, correspondence, and information flowing efficiently.

Responsibilities:

- Manage incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members while providing courteous and attentive service

- Coordinate calendars and arrange appointments to help maintain smooth day-to-day operations

- Prepare, update, and organize records through accurate data entry and document management

- Draft, send, and monitor email communications to support internal coordination and external responses

- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint to create documents, track information, and support reporting needs

- Assist with outbound calls and follow-up communication as needed to support administrative and service-related activities

- Maintain orderly files and office information so materials are accessible and up to date

- Provide general administrative assistance to help the team meet operational priorities and service expectations Requirements - Previous experience in an administrative support or office coordination role

- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to handle inbound and outbound calls effectively

- Demonstrated customer service skills and a helpful approach when assisting others

- Accurate data entry skills with strong attention to detail and organization

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word

- Ability to manage email correspondence and scheduling tasks efficiently
