Our client, a leading organization in the laboratory support industry, is seeking an Assoc Sample Coordinator to join their team. As an Assoc Sample Coordinator, you will be part of the Sample Management department supporting laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Richmond, VA

Pay Range: $18.30

Shift: Evenings

What's the Job?

• Perform inventory tracking procedures including receipt, check-in, labeling, and transportation of samples
• Support laboratory requests and administrative tasks within the Sample Management department
• Communicate task status effectively to supervisors and team members
• Train on SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and storage requirements to ensure compliance
• Assist in responding to environmental unit alarms and participate in on-call responsibilities as needed

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant academic or vocational qualifications preferred
• Previous experience or training in laboratory support or inventory management (0-1 year)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel
• Strong time management and documentation skills
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities and a team-oriented approach
