Our client, a leading organization in the laboratory support industry, is seeking a Assoc Sample Coordinator to join their team. As a Assoc Sample Coordinator, you will be part of the Sample Management department supporting laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Assoc Sample Coordinator
Location: Richmond, VA
Pay Range: $18.30
Shift: Evenings
What's the Job?- Perform inventory tracking procedures including receipt, check-in, labeling, and transportation of samples
- Support laboratory requests and administrative tasks within the Sample Management department
- Communicate task status effectively to supervisors and team members
- Train on SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and storage requirements to ensure compliance
- Assist in responding to environmental unit alarms and participate in on-call responsibilities as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant academic or vocational qualifications preferred
- Previous experience or training in laboratory support or inventory management (0-1 year)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel
- Strong time management and documentation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities and a team-oriented approach
