Job Overview
Provide Spanish interpretation services (reading, writing, and speaking) in an office setting for department clients and personnel. Type correspondence, prepare reports, letters and documents. Act as receptionist as needed. Assist with court and mail runs. Provide general support and assistance to staff. Participate in activities and duties related to Emergency Management during local state of disaster as directed by county managers.
MinimumJob Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of job related work experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Knowledge of general secretarial principles/procedures
- Good computer skills and ability to type
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and deal effectively with the public
- Good written communication skills; ability to organize and prioritize own work
- Valid Texas Driver License
- Bi‑lingual in Spanish is required
Part‑time, $20.89 per hour, up to 29 hours per week.
