Job Duties: Coordinate placement and monitor Local Jail Contract Work Release Program beds for both male and female inmates within the state correctional system. Serves as a liaison with the Local and Regional Jail facilities and the VADOC Facilities. Enter data into the VACORIS data base pertinent to inmate movement and transportation
Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrate skills using MS Office and other automated systems. Ability to work independently, effective oral, written and verbal communication, and work without close supervision. VADOC knowledge. Working knowledge of VADOC Facilities, State & Local Jails. Familiar with Virginia Geographical locations of VADOC Facilities and the Local & Regional Jails. High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Considerations- Experience in a field related to criminal justice, especially in criminal procedures and records processes.
- Experience in institutional or jail operations including the classification of inmates. VCIN Certified.
