Job Duties
This position serves as the Administrative Support Technician for the Richmond Field Office. This position is critical for providing customer service, assistance with creation of technical documents, timely correspondence with the regulated community, and management of critical documents. This position will independently perform document creation, document review, document filing, mailing, answering and directing phone calls and other forms of communication, and data entry assignments.
The incumbent should be proficient in the development of technical documents, accessing and uploading electronic files through Microsoft SharePoint or similar interfaces, creation of.pdf files through Adobe, data entry through programs such as Microsoft Excel, and possess the ability to gather and utilize information from technical documents. The Richmond Field Office currently serves the counties of Caroline, Charles City, Chesterfield, Essex, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, King and Queen, King George, King William, Lancaster, Louisa, Middlesex, New Kent, Northumberland, Powhatan, Richmond, Westmoreland, and the City of Richmond.

Minimum Qualifications
• Knowledge of office and administrative principles and practices
• Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software applications
• Ability to interpret and follow established procedures and guidelines
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, verbally and in writing
• Considerable skill in the operation of standard office equipment
Additional Considerations
• Experience in an office setting
• Experience using MS Office applications
