Overview
Nakupuna Companies is seeking a talented Warehouse Supply Technician to support the Command Property Office (CPO) Warehouse Optimization Team. This motivated, self-starter will be responsible for executing electronic transactions in NERP and any other Accountable Systems of Record (APSR) needed to support Warehouse Operations in Richmond VA.
Responsibilities- Perform receipt, stow, issue, and ship, along with other basic warehouse functions
- Perform physical inventories in accordance with client policy
- Perform material coordination efforts to organize and position assets in accordance with client policy and operational requirements
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment (training to be provided)
- Communicate with senior CPO personnel and Warehouse Operations Manager to determine requirements, execute inventory counts/causative research/reports, and identify opportunities to streamline client business processes
- Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and completion of all tasks assigned under this project
- Execute workload requirement planning with Warehouse Operations Manager to ensure manpower matches planned workloads
- Communicate with Project Managers of complimentary projects at Nakupuna/Na Ali’i to ensure alignment and synchronization
- Keep Nakupuna/Na Ali`i leadership abreast of project execution and any issues that could impact client requirements/deliverables or scope
- Keep Nakupuna/Na Ali`i team informed of any issues affecting client mission
- Maintain exceptional customer relations and provide status briefings/metrics regarding project progress with timely submission of reports at client-specified frequency
- Perform personnel management functions (e.g., performance management and assessment, mentoring, counseling, recruitment, hiring and firing, time and attendance, leave approval)
- Ensure alignment of project execution activities with established company processes and procedures
- Manage centrally warehoused materials including interim supply support, special tooling/equipment, kitting, COMSEC and FMS reserve inventories
- Monitor material acquired and reported through the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Navy ERP to accurately reflect location, identity, condition, and value
- Identify ILS requirements concerning money, manpower, material, facilities, and services; recommend operations adjustments to provide needed logistics elements at the right time and place
- Consult with government specialists to determine requirements, capabilities, lead time, and costs affecting logistics planning
- Prepare procedures for developing, procuring, producing, storing, distributing, maintaining, using, and disposing of supplies, facilities, and equipment
- Identify data requirements and establish plans to meet each requirement on time
- Manage a complex supply chain and determine the status of stored or in-shipment material
- Identify material condition codes, status values, and required packaging/markings
- Determine shipping methods to meet fleet requirements and communicate with external commands to develop action plans for best supportability
- Develop material management reports, inventory plans/objectives, and apply logistics knowledge to overcome supply chain obstacles
- Modify standard logistics practices to solve problems related to resources, funds, manpower, facilities, equipment, and supplies
- Develop new or modified procedures in response to changing mission priorities, funding constraints, political considerations, and equipment life cycles
- Establish cooperative relationships, present observations, and make substantive recommendations; persuade others to agree to proposals when full agreement may not be achieved
Skills/
Qualifications:
A self-starter with experience in integrated product/logistics support, highly motivated, adaptable, and with exceptional written and oral communication skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills required.

- Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license
