SummaryRegional Parts and Supply Product Manager champion driving strategy, inventory optimization, and sales growth by managing supplier relationships, coordinating training and promotions, and bridging HQ initiatives with field execution across Southeast branches.
Duties and Responsibilities- Regional Champion for all product-related items associated with Parts and Supplies (P&S).
- Accountable for strategic initiatives deployed by HQ PM related to P&S.
- Identify, coordinate, and facilitate required P&S product training for all identified regional internal and external customers.
- Identify, coordinate, and facilitate required P&S promotions throughout the year as required to increase P&S product awareness and sales.
- Understand Parts and Supplies Pricing requirements and Supplier Rebate process and the impact on market pricing profitability. Work with WSO, HQ PM and Pricing departments to ensure the correct pricing and margin processes are executed across the region.
- Liaison between HQ Product Management and regional sales team.
- Responsible for communicating regional needs and disseminating pertinent information to all personnel.
- Regional owner of new suppliers’ relationships in the market (10-30%).
- Owns new supplier/product Stage Gate process.
- Make visits to all regional branches to execute Branch Visit Checklist.
- Coordinate with Planning and Operations to maintain appropriate stock levels of P&S.
- Manage regional model/part number supersedes and product multi-pack offerings/discounts.
- Coordinate with regional personnel to manage Vendor Managed Inventory programs.
- Lead regional requirements for merchandising and planogramming initiatives.
- Coordinate and manage Factory Authorized Parts requirements across region.
- Coordinate with all regional functions to attack current inventory inefficiencies and work to maintain acceptable levels of NPI when established.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Knowledge of product strategy and its relationship to the Wholesale HVAC industry.
- Strong analytical, technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks to successful completion. Motivated self-starter.
- Willingness to travel 30% of the time within the Southeast region.
- Proven track record in the HVAC industry, ideally in products, technology, product management or in a specialized sales capacity.
- Strong business/problem solving skills, high sense of urgency and strong communication/interpersonal skills.
- BA/BS degree with 3-5+ years Parts/Supplies Product Management or Sales experience.
