We are currently seeking an Associate Manager to join the Indirect Procurement team in the Richmond, VA area. This position can be either remote or in the office; occasional in-person meetings may be required throughout the year.
The Associate Manager, Supply Chain – Indirect Procurement plays a critical role in enabling our manufacturing and business operations by planning, sourcing, and managing indirect materials and services. This position supports the Integrated Work System (IWS) by aligning procurement activities with Daily Management Systems, Working to Standards, and a Zero Loss Mindset, while partnering closely with cross‑functional teams to drive value, efficiency, and operational excellence.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Plan and execute indirect procurement activities supporting manufacturing, maintenance, and operational needs
- Ensure timely availability of indirect materials and services while balancing cost, service, and inventory objectives
- Support IWS pillar execution through data analysis and loss elimination activities
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and functional teams
- Analyze indirect spend and supplier performance to drive cost optimization and standardization
- Execute SAP transactions in compliance with SOX controls
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Code of Conduct requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing environments
- SAP/MRP and Microsoft Office proficiency
- The position requires on-site presence. Duties are office-based, with routine interaction in manufacturing and processing environments and periodic travel between manufacturing facilities and other supply chain functions.
