The job titled CAPEX Manager & MRO is described as leading the ramp-up of LEGO's plastic injection molding organization. Responsibilities
  • Category Management & Strategic Sourcing:
    Develop and implement sourcing plans aligned with organizational objectives. Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to design strategies that optimize value, reduce risk, and support long-term goals.
  • Supplier Relationship Management & Readiness:
    Establish strategic partnerships with key suppliers, ensuring quality and delivery standards. Drive collaboration through supplier management programs to foster innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Spare Parts Strategy & Downtime Risk:
    Create strategies for managing spare parts criticality and minimize downtime risks.
  • ERP/Procurement Platform Knowledge:
    Utilize systems like SAP, Coupa, etc., to optimize procurement processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Stakeholder & Negotiation Management:
    Lead stakeholder engagement, align cross-functional partners with business goals, and manage high-value negotiations to secure optimal terms.
  • Project Management & Innovation:
    Define and manage project plans, foster collaboration, and adopt emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
  • Change &

    Risk Management:

    Champion procurement transformation, manage resistance, identify risks, and design mitigation plans to support adoption of new strategies.
  • Sustainability, Compliance & Cost Transparency:
    Integrate sustainability into sourcing strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and communicate cost structures to negotiate value-driven agreements.
  • Play Your Part in Our Team's Success:
    Oversee supplier relationships, develop and execute category strategies, manage end-to-end procurement processes, handle business request analysis, negotiate pricing and terms, select suppliers, process orders, manage contracts, and maintain supplier relationships. Proactive conflict resolution and negotiation are essential, with guidance from senior leaders.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Mechanical and Automation Expertise:
    Strong background in mechanical systems and automation from a procurement perspective, essential for scaling the plastic injection molding organization.
  • Leadership:
    Initiative, accountability, collaboration, strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and constructive feedback skills.

Compensation
