Supply Chain / Intl. Trade, Operations Manager
The TRG Manufacturing Search Division is partnering with a growing global manufacturer to identify a Strategic Sourcing Manager for a highly visible role within their Global Supply Chain organization.
This is far more than a traditional sourcing position. The individual in this role will own category spend performance, lead long‑term sourcing strategies, and drive initiatives that directly impact cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance across the business.
You'll collaborate with teams across multiple sites and regions to align sourcing strategies, strengthen supplier partnerships, and support broader supply chain objectives. This role offers significant exposure to leadership and the opportunity to influence key business decisions while helping scale a world‑class sourcing function.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic sourcing and category management initiatives
- Own supplier performance, contract negotiations, and annual cost savings targets
- Lead supplier relationship management, including quarterly business reviews and performance evaluations
- Identify and qualify new suppliers to support growth and mitigate supply chain risk
- Drive improvements in ERP processes and spend visibility to increase coverage under management
- Partner cross‑functionally with operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams on global initiatives
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of supply chain, procurement, or strategic sourcing experience within manufacturing
- Experience sourcing mechanical components and engineered products
- ERP experience required;
Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus - Strong project management, change management, and supplier development skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
