Overview

As Senior Project Controls Analyst, you will serve as a trusted financial resource for construction projects and the primary liaison between operations and corporate finance. This highly visible and fast‑paced position is charged with financial reporting, compliance, and processing responsibilities over projects ranging in size from $20million to $1billion in contract value. You will report directly to the Project Manager/Project Executive with input from the lead Project Controls Manager in the region.

You will work directly on project sites, collaborating closely with the project team and trade partners.

Responsibilities
  • Project Accounting & Administration
    • Compile owner requisition
    • Resolve internal audit findings
    • Process subcontractor requisition and accounts payable
    • Purchase consumable materials and maintain equipment inventory
    • Manage field payroll
    • Assist with project setup, closeout, owner contract review, and readiness
    • Lien waiver and insurance administration
    • Track and report small business compliance
  • Project Finance Support
    • Prepare monthly project financial forecast
    • Create monthly cost reports
    • Monitor key performance indicators
    • Drive process innovation and improvement
    • Monitor and forecast project cash flow
  • Change Order Monitoring & Reconciliation
  • Lead contract administration, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting activities
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of company contracts and all parties involved
  • Secure required permits and verify subcontractor insurance coverage
  • Facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activities
  • Lead, train, and develop project team members
  • Prepare and submit monthly job status reports outlining priorities and issues
  • Lead project close‑out, including manual turnover, warranties, and final payment documents for subcontractors
  • Develop positive relationships with owners, engineering and design firms
  • Establish deadlines and monitor project progress
  • Drive a culture of safety on the project site
  • Support acquisition of new work through proposal participation and presentations
  • Provide leadership that fosters inclusion and diversity
  • Proactively identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate and win work
  • Recruit, hire, and retain outstanding talent for the team
  • Consistently exceed stakeholder expectations by anticipating their needs
Work Environment & Physical Demands

This is an active, hands‑on role that requires frequent time on active construction sites. The environment involves uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, hoists, and moderate to loud noise levels. You must be comfortable with bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 25pounds routinely, and occasionally up to 50pounds. Prolonged office periods may include extended hours, especially during critical project phases or client deadlines, with expectations to respond to phone, email, and text communications as required.

Flexibility and responsiveness are essential.
