What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for a tech‑savvy Product Manager with deep multifamily experience to expand our multifamily product areas. You will shape a roadmap that advances our offering for multifamily customers—from corporate M&A and development teams to property management teams—delivery high‑value features, analytics and workflows for their operational and strategic needs. You’ll collaborate across Engineering, Research, Design, Data Operations, Sales, and Marketing to turn market gaps into scalable features that drive measurable adoption and value.

This position is located in Richmond, VA and is in office Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities Product Strategy & Market Development
  • Own the vision and multi‑quarter roadmap for multifamily use cases, and workflows (property/asset management, marketing operations and owners/operators.)
  • Identify and validate “white space” opportunities; define the MVP, scale path, and customer outcomes for each new capability.
Discovery with Users
  • Run continuous discovery with onsite teams to understand pain points across and translate insights into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with Research and Sales to recruit representative users (PMCs, REITs, owner/operators) and test prototypes rapidly.
Data Rich Feature Delivery
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to integrate more multifamily data and present it through intuitive analytics and workflow tools.
  • Specify data contracts, quality thresholds, and telemetry needed to ensure reliable, decision grade outputs.
Execution & Go‑to‑Market
  • Drive agile execution: backlog, sprint goals, cross team dependencies, and release planning.
  • Launch features with crisp enablement—release notes, training, demos—measured against activation, adoption, and retention KPIs.
Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit university or college.
  • 5+ years in product management (or platform/data product roles) delivering B2B software.
  • 3+ years of multifamily commercial real estate experience (owner/operator, REIT, PMC, lender, brokerage, or vendor).
  • Demonstrated familiarity with product management tools (e.g., backlog and road‑mapping tools, design/prototyping, analytics/telemetry) and the ability to work hands on with Engineering and Design.
  • Excellent communication—able to write crisp PRDs, user stories, and release notes; skilled at stakeholder alignment.
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of multifamily KPIs and portfolio/ownership context across personas (owners, investors, developers).
  • Experience linking onsite workflows to data solutions (pricing, marketing performance, pipeline/comp sets, service levels) and delivering intuitive “frontline ready” UX.
  • Comfort with data concepts (event streams/APIs, data quality/lineage, basic SQL) and experimentation (A/B tests, feature flags).
  • Background partnering with Sales/Customer Success to drive adoption and feedback loops for continuous improvement.
