Position Overview
Principal Associate, Project Management – Card Delivery and Planning Team (Hybrid). In this role at Capital One, you will support high‑value card and personal loan projects, delivering impactful outcomes and driving process improvement.
General Responsibilities- Lead and own small to medium projects, collaborating on larger initiatives.
- Collect data and analytics to provide transparency to senior leadership.
- Identify and implement process improvements to resolve issues and mitigate risk.
- Track and resolve process breakdowns.
- Develop and maintain formal documentation of project risks, schedules, and decisions.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert, partnering with customers to clarify needs and provide solutions.
- High‑school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- At least 2 years of project or process management experience.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting or interacting with internal business clients.
- At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office or G Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree, military experience, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or Confluence.
- 3+ years of experience working with or supporting internal business clients.
- 3+ years of project or process management experience.
- PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem‑solving, and influencing skills.

Richmond, VA: $109,900–$125,400
Riverwoods, IL: $109,900–$125,400
