We are seeking a motivated and organized Project Management Intern to support the planning, coordination, and tracking of projects across different departments within the organization. This role is ideal for a candidate with an academic background in Data Analytics, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field who is interested in nonprofit operations, team coordination, and project execution.
The intern will assist leadership in managing project timelines, coordinating communication between departments, supporting candidate and volunteer movement through different teams, and helping ensure that organizational tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities- Assist in planning, organizing, and tracking nonprofit projects and department-based tasks.
- Coordinate with different departments to support smooth communication and workflow.
- Help manage candidates, volunteers, or interns as they move through different departments and project assignments.
- Maintain project timelines, task lists, progress updates, and internal documentation.
- Support onboarding coordination, candidate follow-ups, scheduling, and departmental placement processes.
- Assist with data tracking, reporting, and performance updates for ongoing projects.
- Help organize department meetings, prepare meeting notes, and follow up on assigned action items.
- Support finance, HR, and administrative teams with project‑related documentation when needed.
- Assist in improving internal workflows, communication processes, and project management systems.
- Monitor project progress and report delays, updates, or concerns to leadership.
- Contribute to process improvement, operational planning, and team coordination efforts.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Interest in nonprofit operations, project management, HR coordination, or data‑driven decision‑making.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and manage several tasks at once.
- Comfortable working with candidates, volunteers, interns, and leadership teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools.
- Experience with project management tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Passion for mission‑driven work, community service, and organizational growth.
