M&A Associate

• Drive work forward in partnership with analysts
• Work closely with clients and senior bankers
• Manage multiple work streams while maintaining quality
• Support the full lifecycle of multiple client engagements
• Deliver accurate, high-quality, client-ready work products
• Analyze complex data sets and identify trends
• Translate data and analysis into actionable insight and deal strategy
• Contribute to client recommendations and point of view
• Attend deal team meetings in person
• Respond quickly to emails and calls in an on-call role
• Complete required application materials, including a combined resume and cover letter PDF and Suited profile

• First-year associate candidate
• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Ability to work long hours in an on-call, in-office role
• Demonstrated academic performance and prior work experience
• Ability to learn and apply new information and incorporate feedback
• Ability to articulate ideas clearly and tailor communication to the audience, verbally and in writing
• Ability to identify trends in complex data sets
• Experience or familiarity with Capital IQ and Fact Set
• Understanding of Excel formulas, data validation, tables, and conditional formatting
• Ability to build clear, client-ready materials in Power Point
• Working understanding of how the income statement, cash flow statement, and balance sheet connect
• Willingness to deepen accounting, valuation, and financial modeling expertise
• Comfort using and directing AI tools while maintaining quality, accuracy, and judgment
• Ability to lead multiple work streams and manage deadlines
• University/college degree typically required for this level, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience
• In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered

Demonstrates strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends in complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights. Proficient in creating client-ready materials and managing multiple work streams effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
