About the Team

The Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions program is a core risk function within Capital One’s Enterprise Risk Organization. This group serves as a second line of defense and operates certain first line of defense controls for Capital One’s Lines of Business. Capital One has a highly motivated, mission-driven AML and Sanctions team focused on enabling rigorous, nimble, and sustainable risk management.

The Anti-Money Laundering Product Management team partners closely with the business, tech, and design to build best in class, innovative platforms that support the continually advancing needs of our business in a well managed, sustainable manner.

Product Framework

In this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management:

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
    • A Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
    • A Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
Salary and Compensation

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

  • McLean, VA: $158,400 - $180,800 for Manager, Product Management
  • Richmond, VA: $144,000 - $164,400 for Manager, Product Management

This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
