The Customer Credit Services Intern will support process improvement, operational analysis, and customer service initiatives within the Credit Services organization. This role provides hands‑on experience analyzing business processes, identifying operational efficiencies, and assisting with customer account‑related research and resolution activities. The intern will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support projects that enhance the customer experience, strengthen compliance, and improve overall business performance.

Through this internship, students will gain exposure to:

• Utility credit and collections operations
• Customer affordability and assistance programs
• Process improvement methodologies
• Business analytics and reporting
• Regulatory and compliance considerations
• Customer dispute resolution and account management
• Cross-functional project management and stakeholder engagement
• Analyze processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support process documentation and workflow enhancements.
• Conduct research on customer account issues, including medical certifications, identity verification, and billing disputes.
• Assist with reporting, data analysis, and special projects.
• Support customer affordability, collections, and compliance initiatives.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
• Works independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrates initiative, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn.
• This internship opportunity is also open to applicants who are enrolled members of a Native American Tribe.

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Management, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or related business field
• Must have a GPA of 3.0 or above
• Must have a graduation date of 2028 or 2029

What You'll Get

Hourly Rate:

$25.00 - $27.00

The hourly rate listed is the rate we anticipate paying for this position. If a range is listed, the actual hourly rate offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate's degree type, academic major, and/or school classification (e.g., sophomore, junior, senior).
