3D Recruitment are searching for an experienced Estimator to join a hugely successful national Construction & Fitout business in Melbourne.

Having been in operation for almost 2 decades, our client stands as a privately owned construction firm with robust financial backing and a Victoria-wide footprint. They specialise in two key domains: construction and refurbishment - handling projects with budgets up to $20 million. Their project portfolio spans various sectors such as VSBA work, healthcare, community, commercial, and aged care projects. Presently, we're seeking a Intermediate to Senior Estimator to join their seasoned preconstruction team.

• $140,000 - $180,000 + Super (Depending on experience)

• High-end fit outs, complex refurbishments and new build construction within diverse sectors including Commercial, Hospitality, Education, Government, Light Industrial & more
• Project ranging from $1m - $20m

• Preparing bill of quantities, gathering quotations and scope of works
• Detailed take-offs.
• Read and interpret Architectural & Engineering Drawings.
• Mentor junior members of the team (If a Senior Estimator)
• Assist with tendering on multiple projects concurrently.
• Work within a team environment as well as operating autonomously.
• Gather and manage the tender documentation ready for submission.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of industry standards and prices.

• Have excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
• Have impeccable time management practices
• Ability to effectively negotiate with subcontractors without undervaluing them
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Essential to have experience as an Estimator in the Melbourne Construction or Fitout/Refurb Industry
