Virtual Construction Supervisor

The Virtual Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and developing all Draftsmen, Designers, and Senior Designers in the Virtual Construction Department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision, performance evaluations, development, and training of all Draftsman, Designers, and Senior Designers.
  • Schedule and allocate manpower to projects requiring layout and coordination.
  • Collaborate with the Virtual Construction Manager and BIM Supervisor on project scheduling and coordination sequencing.
  • Report on schedule progress and productivity metrics to the Virtual Construction Manager.
  • Enforce efficient layout and coordination of work in accordance with plans, specifications, and Colonial Webb documents.
  • Mark up drawings and provide them to the Project Manager highlighting modifications or discrepancies.
  • Review all project documents to fully understand scope of work.
  • Provide accurate estimates for completion of assignments.
  • Produce and review daily/weekly progress reports, including labor budget data and schedule milestones.
  • Generate full coordination drawings and supply all necessary paperwork (PDFs, plotted drawings, CAD or Revit files).
Qualifications
  • Experience in schedule and budget management for Virtual Construction cost codes.
  • Strong understanding of the mechanical pipe, plumbing, or sheet metal trade in commercial and industrial construction.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand contract drawings, specifications, and submittals.
  • Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Proficiency in CAD detailing and design.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and 3D design.
  • Diplomatic and effective customer communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Occasional willingness to work from a jobsite environment.
