Position Overview

The Construction Project Engineer provides technical support and engineering expertise throughout the lifecycle of construction projects, working closely with project managers, construction teams, and trade partners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering expertise and support to ensure technical aspects of the project are executed effectively.
  • Assist in the development of project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and trade partners to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Assist in estimating costs, reviewing and approving invoices, and managing project budgets.
  • Track project progress and ensure that work is completed according to the established schedule.
  • Identify and resolve engineering and construction‑related problems.
  • Promote and enforce safety standards on site.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in construction engineering or a related role.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and engineering tools.
  • Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings and specifications.
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
