Your Responsibilities on the Team- Oversee all construction activities from inception to move-in, managing site schedules, supervising trade partners, and ensuring compliance with project timelines and scopes of work.
- Supervise construction from pre‑construction meetings through final presentation meetings.
- Negotiate inspector and trade partner solutions, ensuring cost‑effective resolutions that support budget adherence and continuous improvement.
- Manage daily trade partner communications and invoice approvals through Build Pro.
- Provide trade partner feedback concerning timeliness and attention to detail.
- Ensure site cleanliness, safety, and compliance with state and federal building codes, maintaining safety logs and on‑site meetings.
- Perform Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan inspections as required by county and state guidelines.
- Oversee construction process including pre‑construction meetings, inspections, and final walkthroughs.
- Manage documentation: approve change orders, purchase orders, and safety logs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, customer care, management) to ensure effective communication and problem resolution.
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred or 3–5 years of experience in home building/construction.
- Experience in residential construction management.
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.
- Tech‑savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Build Pro, Procore, and other construction management software.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- Valid auto insurance coverage.
- Knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Requires regular, in‑person attendance at company communities, job sites, and offices during regular work hours. Must be able to work more than eight hours per day in confined spaces, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment that may exceed 50 pounds, and may occasionally operate construction equipment. Finger dexterity required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
