Position: Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Facilities Maintenance (CFM)

Responsibilities
  • Support Senior Project Managers in planning, directing, and delivering construction projects.
  • Assist with forecasting, reporting, documentation, and communication across teams.
  • Help maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.
  • May manage smaller projects under supervision.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and execution to meet owner and company goals.
  • Assist with forecasting, reporting, and maintaining accurate project records.
  • Utilize effective processes, technology, and teamwork to ensure project efficiency.
  • Manage small projects as assigned, with oversight.
  • Build and support client relationships and identify future business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve project and company objectives.
  • Provide mentoring support to field and project staff as appropriate.
  • Participate in industry events and represent the company professionally.
  • Follow all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Basic understanding of construction project management
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn project management software

  • Valid driver’s license
Education / Experience
  • A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field of study preferred
  • Specific training and education focused on the construction project management discipline
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience as a Project Engineer with M-K or a commercial general contracts construction company preferred
