Superintendent/QCMJob Description
We are seeking a Superintendent/QCM to lead a comprehensive, year-long interior renovation project at the Richmond VA Medical Center. This project involves a significant catheter lab buildout, focusing heavily on mechanical aspects essential for heart procedures.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of federal construction projects.
+ Review the scope of work and coordinate site visits for subcontractor bidding.
+ Manage estimating and bidding for task order contracts and IDIQs.
+ Schedule projects and manage subcontractors effectively.
+ Ensure compliance with EM385-1-1 and OSHA
30 regulations.
Essential Skills
+ Project management
+ Construction management
+ Change order management
+ Supervision of federal government construction projects
+ 5+ years of construction experience, preferably on federal government projects
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills
Additional
Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous experience with Veterans Affairs projects is highly preferred.
+ Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, and other computer applications.
+ Construction field experience and advanced project management skills
Work Environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.10/hr.
