Position OverviewWe're seeking a licensed Class A Residential Building Contractor to serve as our Qualified Individual (QI) with the Virginia DPOR. This is a QI-focused role — not a field labor or project management position. This person will serve in a consulting, mentoring role for the owner. Owner is working on his Commercial Builders license and would like to gain experience in the residential building zone.
Requirements- Current, active Virginia Class A Residential Building Contractor license
- Clean licensing/compliance history with DPOR
- Willing to fulfill DPOR's QI role requirements for the duration of the engagement
- A negotiable flat monthly fee, paid for the duration of the engagement
- Initial term: 6 months
- Renewable in 6-month increments by mutual agreement
