Asa Principal Technical Consultant in Construction Safetybasedin Indianapolis ,Indiana (or other locations), you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the full capital project lifecycle—from early planning and design to construction, commissioning, start-up, and closeout.

Bachelor’sdegreeinsafety,occupationalhealthandsafety,engineering,construction management,orrelatedfieldorequivalentexperience.
6–8+yearsofcapitalprojectEHSexperience,including owner-sidesafetysupport,contractor oversight,construction execution,and commissioning/start-up.

Experience with Safetyin Design ,constructability reviews,PHA/PSM-informedriskreviews,andprojectEHSgovernanceprocesses.

StrongknowledgeofOSHAconstruction/generalindustrystandards,LOTO,permitting,emergency response,fire protection,andhigh-riskconstructioncontrols.

ExperiencereviewingcontractorsafeworkdocumentationincludingJHAs,pre-taskplans,permits,liftplans,energyisolationplans,training records,andtoolboxtalks.

Strongfield presence,communication skills,andabilitytoinfluencecontractors,project teams,andclientEHSpersonnel.

Proficiency with Microsoft Officeapplicationsandabilitytomanagemultiplepriorities ,travelasneeded,anddeliverhigh-qualityclientservice.

PreferredCHST,ASP,CSP,OSHA
30,confined space,fall protection/prevention,orequivalentcertifications/training.

Experiencesupportingcomplexcapitalprojectsinpharmaceutical,high-tech,chemical,LNG,manufacturing,orsimilarindustries.

DevelopanddeployscalableEHSframeworks,standards,procedures,tools,andmanagementsystemsalignedwithprojectobjectivesandenterpriseriskmanagementgoals.

Adviseclientson Safety-by-Design integration,constructabilityriskmanagement,contractorsafetygovernance,operational readiness,andlong-termsustainabilityofEHSprograms.

Lead assessments,benchmarking activities,maturity evaluations,andstrategicimprovementinitiativesthatstrengthensafetyperformanceandorganizationalcapability.

Translatetechnicalobservationsandprojectexecutionchallengesintoexecutive-levelrecommendationsandactionableroadmaps.

Lead Safety-by-Designintegrationandrisk-baseddecisionmakingthroughouttheprojectlifecycle.
