Work Schedule

Monday – Saturday;
Flexible hours. Part‑time employee scheduled on an as‑needed basis.

This position involves life modeling for art studio classes. The role includes posing in nude or clothed positions as directed by the instructor.

• Model poses for drawing classes.
• Hold specific poses for specific periods of time, clothed or nude, at the discretion of the instructor.
• Model in the nude for short (2‑5 minutes) and longer (1‑ or 2‑hour poses broken into 20‑minute sections).

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May assist the agency or state government in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

• Requires ability to hold poses for 30‑minute blocks of time.
• The ability to hold a pose standing, seated or reclining for extended periods of time.
• Have a professional demeanor.
• Able to accept direction.
• Must be punctual and responsible.
• Comfortable with nude modeling.
• Ability to hold directed poses for extended periods of time.

• Experience modeling for art studio classes or experience as a student of art classes.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Understand basic art vocabulary.
• Modeling experience.

No state vehicle operation. No supervising employees. No required travel.

Employees must reside in Virginia, Maryland, or District of Columbia.
