We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Contract Event Helper to join our team in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup and teardown of event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and decorations.
• Support event coordinators in managing event logistics and timelines.
• Greet and direct guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Handle registration and check-in processes.
• Assist with audiovisual equipment setup and troubleshooting.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure successful event execution.

Skills and

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Basic technical skills for handling audiovisual equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Previous event assistance experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation to and from event locations.
