Customer Service Specialist
Graham Personnel Services is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to join our growing client in Richmond, VA. This role is responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from initial request through delivery. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and a proactive approach to communication and problem-solving.
This is a temp to hire opportunity.
Pay rate: $21-24/hr First shift hours
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service & Order Management
- Provide professional and timely customer support via phone and email
- Process quotations, orders, and invoicing for spare parts and kits with a high degree of accuracy
- Review parts availability and create internal purchase orders
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, shipment timelines, and availability
- Address customer inquiries, past due reports, and outstanding invoices
- Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain accurate customer and project records within internal systems
- Compile documentation for installation kits and machine projects
- Process repair orders as needed
- Assist with inventory control and tracking
- Coordination & Support
- Coordinate travel arrangements (background checks, safety requirements, hotels, etc.) for the Richmond location
- Support internal teams through organized documentation and clear communication
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service and/or office experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Must reside in or near Richmond, VA (or within a commutable distance)
- Ability to travel quarterly to Greensboro, NC for meetings and collaboration
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with Concur or similar expense management systems
