Overview

The Tennis Pro Shop at The Princess Anne Country Club is seeking a motivated individual to serve as the front‑desk anchor for the tennis shop. The position is part‑time, requiring about 18‑24 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be upbeat, pro‑active, and work closely with the Tennis Team to consistently deliver personal attention that captivates every member and guest.

• Provide Code of Princess Anne Service (COPS) excellent “moment of truth” member and guest services, recognizing and addressing members by name.
• Answer and promptly return member and guest calls with a pleasant, can‑do attitude.
• Meticulously organize and coordinate court reservations and the professionals’ lesson book.
• Maintain the check‑in desk and shop in a clean, organized, and professional manner.
• Ensure member and guest check‑in and accurate fee charges.
• Operate the tennis shop retail point‑of‑sale system.
• Maintain a constant upbeat professional presence and never leave the shop unattended unless assisting with court maintenance.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, displaying, and promoting merchandise sales.
• Provide insight and support to the Tennis Operations Team to enhance tennis and club programming.
• Understand and enforce club and tennis operation policies.
• Promote all tennis and club activities to members and guests.
• Maintain a safe work environment and assist with court maintenance (sweep, line, refill cups, pick up towels and balls).

• Reliable and flexible with scheduling, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Excellent multi‑tasking, customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and able to keep pace in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience working at a country club or high‑end customer service environment preferred.
• Tennis knowledge is a plus.
