Job Duties

This position is responsible for maintaining employee time and attendance for PGH & VC .

This position performs administrative support functions associated with operational unit. Responsible for the accurate record keeping of an employee’s time usage and payroll submission; providing assistance to employees and managers/supervisors on leave policies and procedures; maintaining an automated leave system including shift differential, overtime, worker’s compensation, etc. Communicating to employees and supervisors on leave usage balances; greeting and responding to employees of the operational unit in person or by telephone;

and preparing correspondence, such as memos, letters, and reports on leave usage. Completes leave audits. Utilization of information will be in accordance with HIPPA regulations regarding use limitations, disclosure and request of PHI.

Minimum Qualifications
  • - Proficient with computers and/or various software.
  • - Clerical experience in an office setting.
Additional Considerations
  • - Working knowledge of employee leave systems and usage.
  • - Computer software applications; automated/manual leave systems; alphabetic, numeric and other filing systems.
  • - Basic math and computations; payroll reporting requirements
  • -Customer service techniques associated with working with a diversified population
