Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a leading provider of public safety and emergency preparedness solutions to identify a Customer Success Representative (CSR) to join their growing team in Richmond, VA.
This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional who is eager to build a strong foundation in customer success, sales support, and business operations. Whether you're a recent college graduate, coming out of an internship, or have some early experience in a customer-facing or sales support role, this position offers the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of a growing organization while working closely with customers, sales professionals, vendors, and internal teams.
This is a fully onsite opportunity in Richmond, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers and outside sales representatives, providing responsive support and helping find solutions to customer needs.
- Learn the company's products, processes, and systems to effectively assist with customer questions and requests.
- Manage customer inquiries related to pricing, products, inventory, order status, freight, lead times, and claims.
- Process orders, prepare quotes, and assist with bid opportunities while ensuring accuracy and timely follow-through.
- Track orders from placement through delivery, proactively communicating updates and helping resolve any issues along the way.
- Partner with internal teams and vendors to coordinate customer needs and ensure successful outcomes.
- Research products and help identify practical solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records within the ERP system and document customer interactions.
- Build a strong understanding of the organization's operations and contribute ideas that improve the customer experience and internal processes.
- Take on new responsibilities and opportunities to grow as you develop your knowledge of the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant internship, customer service, sales support, or administrative experience is a plus.
- Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in helping others.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Curious, resourceful, and comfortable learning new products, systems, and processes.
- Ability to take initiative, ask questions, and follow through on responsibilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a variety of teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with an ERP system is a plus, but not required.
