The Department of Prosthodontics at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Dentistry advances oral health through education, research, patient care, and leadership. Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Dentistry, Department of Prosthodontics is seeking applicants to fill a part-time Senior Research Technician staff position.
Responsibilities- Support course directors in planning of preclinical laboratory sessions
- Supervise predoctoral students in preclinical exercises within laboratory sessions (no clinical teaching or patient care involved)
- Assist dental laboratory in restoration design and fabrication
- >2 years of experience in the dental field
- Working knowledge of common dental laboratory software such as: 3
Shape Dental Design, 3
Shape Dental Studio, 3
Shape Dental Implants, Exo Cad, Sirona, Planmeca, Real Guide for implants, Formlabs, Sprintray - FLSA Exemption Status:
Non-Exempt
- Hours per Week: 10-20
- Salary: $20
