Clinic Manager, Pediatrics

VCU Dental Care is seeking a Clinic Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Pediatric Dentistry clinic. This position provides leadership to clinic staff and works closely with faculty, residents, and leadership to ensure efficient clinic operations, quality patient service, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

• Oversee daily clinic operations, staffing, scheduling, patient flow, and resources.
• Lead and support clinic staff and promote a positive, patient-focused environment.
• Monitor administrative and clinical processes for efficiency and quality.
• Support billing, insurance, collections, and other financial processes.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with leadership, faculty, residents, and staff to address operational needs.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of clinical dental office experience.
• Strong knowledge of dental clinic operations, billing, insurance, and patient services.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and computer systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, diverse environment.

RDA certification, RDH, Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare administration, Epic experience, dental clinic management/supervisory experience, and BLS certification.

Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Schedule may vary based on operational needs.
