Physician - OB/GYN
Job Details:
• Temporary position covering for physician on medical leave from May 1, 2026 through August 31, 2026
• Office hours 8am-4pm with 24-hour call responsibilities in a 1:4 rotation
• Manage approximately 25-30 scheduled patients per day
• Join a team of 3 physicians and 5 midwives with one-on-one clinical staff support (CMA, LPN, RN)
• Provide comprehensive obstetrics care with 90% low-risk and 10% high-risk pregnancies
• Handle routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, C-section, breech, multiple births, and abruptions
• Perform vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) procedures and repair 3rd-4th degree lacerations
• Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring including NST/CST/FSE
• Conduct and interpret Level I OB ultrasounds with support from seasoned technicians
• Provide gynecological services (20% of practice) including IUD placement, colposcopy, LEEP, and cryosurgery
• Perform surgical gynecology procedures including open and laparoscopic procedures
• Conduct 1-4 GYN surgeries per day based on preference and case requirements
• Work with EPC electronic medical record system
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Must have or be willing to obtain active VA license
• BLS/ACLS certification required
• Provider must be local as only mileage is reimbursed
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 120 days after approved candidate submission
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
