Hematology​/Oncology Physician

As a locum medical oncologist, you will work in a dynamic setting with opportunities to engage in research and provide critical care to a dedicated patient population.

• Oversee a Nurse Practitioner in the practice.
• Enroll patients in research studies as part of ongoing clinical trials.
• Manage call coverage as needed.
• Provide inpatient care with some outpatient support during physician vacations.
• Oversee a daily case load of approximately 12-15 patients.
• Utilize the EPIC documentation system for patient records.

• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology REQUIRED
• Active Virginia License REQUIRED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification REQUIRED
• Clean background required for temporary positions; must submit NPDB report.
• A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation REQUIRED
