Description:

Henrico Doctors Hospital Richmond s largest delivery center with a Level III NICU is seeking a compassionate Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist to join a highly collaborative innovative team committed to excellence in neonatal care providing 24/7 in-house coverage in a state-of-the-art single-family room NICU environment.

Job Description:

Provide exceptional neonatal intensive care in a 40-bed Level III NICU at Henrico Doctors Hospital Collaborate with a dedicated group of Neonatologists providing continuous 24/7 in-house coverage

Utilize advanced therapies such as HFOV High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation HFJV High-Frequency Jet Ventilation inhaled nitric oxide and therapeutic hypothermia

Work alongside on-site pediatric surgery and cardiology specialists to ensure comprehensive care Coordinate with a nurse-led neonatal transport team for patient transfers and emergency situations

Deliver care in a single-family room NICU model that prioritizes family-centered care

No requirement to cover the newborn nursery focusing exclusively on NICU patients

Participate in quality improvement safety initiatives and collaborative clinical research supported by Pediatrix Medical Group Contribute to a team culture that values innovation education and compassionate family support
