Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive maternal-fetal medicine care, focusing on high-risk pregnancies
- Perform necessary procedures, including amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and more
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including an RN clinic educator and genetic counselor
Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Active VA license
- Fellowship trained
- BLS certification
- AIUM certification preferred
- Self-query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
Working Hours
- Variable schedule with potential for on-call duties during weekdays and weekends
Skills
- Expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies and associated co-morbidities
- Proficient in utilizing EPIC and viewpoint documentation systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
