Overview
We are seeking a Full-time General Anesthesiologist to provide anesthesia services across multiple outpatient surgical centers in Virginia Beach.
Responsibilities- conducting patient evaluations
- developing anesthesia plans
- administering and adjusting general and regional anesthesia
- monitoring vital signs
- overseeing post‑operative care
- supervising certified registered nurse anesthetists
- mentoring residents
- ensuring patient safety
- a medical degree (MD or DO)
- board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology
- VA medical license
- at least 3 years of experience in a high‑acuity setting
- possesses excellent communication and organizational skills
- demonstrates a strong commitment to patient safety
- can work effectively in a team
