Position Overview

Virginia Eye Institute is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible, fellowship-trained Glaucoma Specialist to join our premier physician-owned multi-specialty ophthalmology group serving Central Virginia. This opportunity replaces a retiring glaucoma specialist with a busy, mature practice and strong internal referral base.

• Collaborative team of 40+ providers, including ophthalmologists, optometrists, and subspecialists
• Seven locations, including our newly expanded Short Pump office featuring LASIK, Light Adjustable Lens (LAL), and a premier Dry Eye Center
• Subspecialty coverage includes pediatrics, oculoplastics, glaucoma, cornea, retina, and comprehensive care
• Access to an ASC with 6 operating rooms, performing over 10,000 cases annually
• Well-defined partnership track based on superior outcomes, patient satisfaction, and practice citizenship

Our physicians are board certified and fellowship-trained by some of the nation’s top programs, supported by highly trained technical and administrative staff. We maintain participation agreements with all major managed care plans, ensuring accessibility for patients across the region.
