Responsibilities- Teach students plumbing concepts following the NCCER Curriculum for Plumbing levels 1-4, preparing them for NCCER credentials and credit toward a journeyman’s license.
- Conduct classes in the evening and online.
- Adjunct faculty positions appointed on an as‑needed, course‑by‑course, semester basis.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned or to assist the agency or state government during an emergency declaration by the governor.
- 3‑5 years of occupational experience in plumbing work.
- Credentialed as an NCCER instructor for plumbing levels 1‑4.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to write syllabi and exams, develop learning strategies, curriculum, and assessments.
- Experience teaching adult learners.
- Journeyman’s or Master Level license in a related field.
- Operation of a state vehicle (if required).
- No supervisory responsibilities.
- No required travel.
