Position Overview

We are seeking a caring, collaborative, and reflective Assistant Teacher to support our lead educators in fostering a joyful, inquiry‑based classroom. This is an excellent opportunity for early childhood professionals who are passionate about equitable education and inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the Lead Teacher in implementing a Reggio‑Emilia‑inspired curriculum.
  • Foster a warm, responsive, and respectful relationship with children and families.
  • Observe and document children’s interests and developmental progress.
  • Assist with preparing materials and maintaining a welcoming, organized classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and participate in planning and reflection meetings.
  • Support a classroom culture of inclusion, curiosity, and mutual respect.
Requirements and Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • At least 1+ years of direct experience in an early childhood setting (Infant/Toddler – Preschool).
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of principles and techniques of Early Childhood Education.
