Overview
Adjunct Instructor - Health Professions. The rate per credit hour will commensurate with education and relevant teaching experience. This is a part-time position within the Health Professions Department at Laurel Ridge Community College. May be on site, remote and/or hybrid.
Responsibilities- Provide general classroom and clinical lab instruction both online and in a traditional setting.
- Teach face-to-face classes to include days, evenings, and weekends both on and off campus.
- Incorporate latest instructional technologies and interactive learning technologies in course delivery.
- Assist in program recruitment.
- Advise students who are in the program or aspire to be in the program.
- Monitor and improve student retention.
- Maintain class records, input grades and attendance.
- Provide quality customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
- Continually develop and improve skills through professional development.
- Participate in faculty committees and other activities, as assigned.
- Required:
Associates Degree; effective oral and written communication skills. - Must have expert efficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty:
The rate per credit hour will commensurate with education and relevant teaching experience. The position is part-time and as such is not eligible for health or leave benefits. However, the position may offer educational benefits through our professional development and educational assistance policies.
